Boredom as a Creative Tool

I don't think that there are enough composers out there who are taking full advantage of boredom as a creative tool.

Our physical and digital environments are so full of stimulation that composing, by comparison, is maybe just a super boring thing to do. Why would anyone ever compose a piece of music when you can go on the internet?
